Visitor Information


In Buffalo, parking areas have been designated for visitors, employees and outpatients. Handicapped parking areas have been identified. Please obey the posted signs and ground painted symbols. Outpatients and visitors may park in the south lot between LeBrun Road and the City water tower. Parking your vehicle is not permitted during your hospitalization. Free valet parking services are available for Veterans with outpatient appointments. Valet parking can be utilized by driving to the Outpatient Entrance and asking a uniformed attendant for parking services. Valet parking is located in B lot, with approximately 102 spots designated for the service. There are valet parking signs coming in from the Lebrun Road entrance and the Bailey Avenue. entrance. In Batavia, there is ample patient/ visitor parking throughout the facility grounds. All spaces are well marked. The VA Police will enforce regulations by issuing warnings and tickets to drivers who violate the rules. For questions, contact the VA Police at each facility.


Greeters are identified by their maroon jackets or ribbons and work Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. located on the first floor, e-wing, ambulatory care entrance. They are there to assist patients, family and visitors with directions and/or questions. Floor maps are available upon request.

Overnight Accommodation for Qualifying Appointments

VA Western New York Healthcare System provides off site overnight accommodations for Veterans and one family member who travel over 50 miles, and have early morning appointments or outpatient procedures. The use of this benefit can be extended to guests of hospitalized Veterans and Tricare beneficiaries depending upon room availability and eligibility criteria. Veterans and Tricare beneficiaries will receive priority access to lodging.
