Veterans Day Celebration Events
VA Western New York Healthcare System #HonoringVets

    VA Western New York Healthcare System (VA WNYHS) will host two events for Veterans and their family members, employees, and area visitors to celebrate Veterans Day. On Thursday, November 9, VA WNYHS will celebrate Veterans Day with a ceremony featuring keynote speaker CAPT Brian Roche, U.S. Coast Guard (Retired) and Director of the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park. This ceremony will take place at 1pm in Room 301, Freedom Hall, 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, New Yok, 14215.

VA program areas will be present at information tables and tours will be provided.

     On Saturday, November 11, VA WNYHS will feature a brief Veterans Day observance at Batavia VA Medical Center campus, 222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, New York, 14020. This ceremony will occur at the campus’s main flag pole location near Building 3 at 10am. A coffee social sponsored by local Walmart employees will take place following the ceremony in the Auditorium, Building 4.

     Both celebrations will have members of DXC Technologies who are partnering with Veteran Affairs and celebrating their Home of the Brave Campaign.                                                                     See for more details.
