      VA Western New York Healthcare System                                 to Hold Veterans Forum

 

VA Western New York Healthcare System will host a Veterans Forum meeting open to Veterans and their families, the general public, media, Congressional stakeholders, Veteran Service Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, and other community partners. The Veterans Forum will take place on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Freedom Hall, Room 301, VA Western New York Healthcare System, 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, at 5pm. The purpose of the Veterans Forum will be to provide updates on VA health care access, quality, and other VA programs tailored to meet the health care needs of Veterans and their families.

 

VA Western New York Healthcare System leaders and clinical staff will be on hand to receive feedback from those in attendance and offer their perspectives and recommendations on VA programs. The Secretary of VA’s top five priorities will be discussed to include greater health care choices, system modernization, efficient use of resources, timeliness of services, and suicide prevention.
