VA Western New York Healthcare System & Veterans Benefit Administration to Hold Veteran Town Hall Meeting

WHO: VA Western New York Healthcare System (VA WNYHCS) & Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA)

WHAT: A town hall meeting will place for Veterans, family members and the public to provide feedback on VA health care and VA benefits operations and offer feedback and recommendations on VA programs. VA employees will also be on hand to assist Veterans and provide information about access and enrollment to VA health care. The Buffalo Regional Office will be providing representatives to assist Service Members, Veterans and their Dependents with filing claims and/or answering questions specific to Disability Compensation, Education, and Vocational & Rehabilitation Employment Benefits. Media are also invited to attend.

WHERE: VA WNYHCS - Freedom Hall, Room 301, 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY

WHEN: Monday, March 16, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm

Background: The town hall is one of many VA is holding around the country. The meetings are intended to provide local Veterans a wide-open forum and for VA officials to hear directly from beneficiaries as a step toward improvement and to rebuild trust among Veterans. The meeting is open to Veterans and their families, the general public, media, Congressional stakeholders, Veteran Service Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, and other community partners.
