VA Health Care Enrollment Event

BUFFALO – On Monday, November 9 at 5:30 p.m. a Veteran enrollment session will be held in Freedom Hall (room 301) at VA Western New York Healthcare, 3495 Bailey Avenue in Buffalo. The session is designed to help Veterans learn about VA health care during this time when they may be considering health care options.

Veterans who are not enrolled in VA health care are encouraged to attend to hear an overview of VA health care benefits and meet with staff. Veterans should bring their discharge papers along with their financial information from 2014 for accurate benefits counseling. VA offers benefits for returning Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation New Dawn Veterans, Women Veterans and Veterans with special needs. Counselors will also be available to assist with filing claims for service connected disabilities and other benefits.

For those already enrolled in VA health care, flu vaccines will be offered at no charge until 8 p.m. at Desk 4 and also offered to those who enroll that day.
