“The Clothesline Project” at VA Western New York Healthcare System

 

 

WHO:                       VA Western New York Healthcare System

WHAT:                     VA Western New York Healthcare System‘s “The Clothesline Project” provides recognition through several visual displays to raise awareness for victims of military sexual trauma, sexual assault, and sexual abuse.

WHEN:                    Thursday, April 20, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Open to Veterans only from 1 – 2 p.m. Media is invited between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Parking is free and we recommend using our Patient & Visitor Lot-A.

 

WHY:                       Veterans can participate in “The Clothesline Project” in observance of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. “The Clothesline Project” is a visual display to raise awareness regarding military sexual trauma, sexual assault, and sexual abuse. All three of these issues affect both genders, in all ranks, in all branches of service. Veteran attendees learn healthy ways of coping.
