Thanksgiving Dinner for Veterans

Thanksgiving dinner will be served to homeless and other needy Veterans and their families, Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at VA Western New York Healthcare System, 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo.

This event occurs annually on the Sunday before Thanksgiving Day in order to provide a hot meal to Veterans in need. This marks the 14th year the dinner has been held by VA. Turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served by staff in the VA Food Court located in the hospital's lower level.

“This dinner is one small way to say thank you to those who have served our country,” said Judith A. Kaczmarek, coordinator of the event.

Those interested in attending can contact the Homeless Program at 716-862-8885 for further information or transportation.
