VA WESTERN NEW YORK HEALTHCARE SYSTEM ANNOUNCES 2018
SUPPORT AND FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR FAMILIES OF VETERANS

VA Western New York Healthcare System is proud to announce the 2018 program schedule for Support and Family Education, or S.A.F.E, for family members of veterans who deal with mental illness. S.A.F.E is a bi-weekly workshop that educates family members about the mental health of America’s heroes.

S.A.F.E is a free program that meets every other Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. beginning February 16 and ending October 19, 2018. Each workshop deals with different mental health topics and information that can help family members better understand and cope with issues and concerns their loved ones are facing.

S.A.F.E is open to family members and older adolescents of veterans in Room 1022B at the Buffalo site, VA Western New York Healthcare System, 3495 Bailey Avenue. See attached flyer for dates and topics. For more information please contact Dr. Elizabeth Wahlig at 716-862-7473.
