RESOURCES TO ASSIST HOMELESS VETERANS AND THOSE AT RISK OF BEING HOMELESS


Resources are available for Veterans who may be in need of housing or at risk of being homeless during this
severe weather we are experiencing in Western New York and throughout the year. VA Health Care For Homeless Veterans Program outreach workers are available to assist those in need. Service workers, friends and family who may be in contact with homeless and at risk Veterans can connect them with VA services that are available to them to include housing. If you receive a call from a person in need who states that they served in the U.S. Military, please let them know that they can contact the VA Homeless Program for assistance, or call they can call the National Call Center for Homeless Veterans at 1-877-424-3838 and a responder will make the referral to the Point of Contact closest to where the Veteran is located.
