Parenting Skills Workshops for Veterans

VA Western New York Healthcare System is offering parenting skills workshops for Veterans and families at the Buffalo site, 3495 Bailey Avenue, from 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m. in room 506B on the following dates:
Tuesday, September 30 - Dealing with Change
Tuesday, October 7 - Homework
Wednesday, October 15 - Organizing the Important Stuff
Tuesday, October 21 - School Success   

Pre-registration is not required. Certificates will be provided for completed classes.  “Helping your child transition back to a school routine from summer vacation can be challenging,” stated Elizabeth Wahlig, Ph.D. “These workshops give parents and grandparents tips on making the transition smoother.”
