VA Showcases Newly Renovated Audiology & ENT Clinic

VA Western New York Healthcare System is proud to announce the opening of a newly renovated Audiology and Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Clinic. On Friday, October 30, a ribbon cutting and open house will take place at the Buffalo site, 3495 Bailey Avenue, wing 5B, with a brief ceremony at 9am and open house to follow until 11am.
 

The open house will showcase the $3.5 million renovated 10,300 square foot Audiology and ENT Clinic’s capabilities to complete comprehensive Audiology and ENT evaluation services and technologies to include hearing aids, cochlear implants, and vestibular disorder (vertigo) assessments. Head and neck cancer screenings and maxillofacial procedures are available services to Veterans along with the site being is one of  twenty-nine VA medical centers that can perform otology procedures to include state of the art cochlear implant surgery.

“The services offered are advanced and the cochlear implant surgery is truly a great benefit for those who cannot benefit from hearing aids,” stated Brian G. Stiller, Medical Center Director. “We are pleased to provide this specialized surgery in Western New York for Veterans from our area and those outside of Western New York. The team has given the gift of hearing to Veterans.”
