Brian G. Stiller was appointed Medical Center Director at VA Western New York Healthcare System February 26, 2012. A native of Western New York, he previously served as Director of Togus VA Medical Center since July 2007.


Prior to his assignment at Togus, Mr. Stiller served as Associate Director of Minneapolis VA Medical Center from January 2004 until July 2007 and Associate Director of Beckley VA Medical Center from August 2001 to January 2004.


Mr. Stiller is a veteran of the United States Navy who graduated from State University College (SUC) at Buffalo with honors and went on to obtain his masters in Health Systems Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology. Mr. Stiller began his career with Department of Veterans Affairs in 1991 at Northport, (New York) VA Medical Center. Starting in Human Resources, Mr. Stiller's career progressed through positions of greater responsibility from Human Resources Specialist, to EEO Manager, Staff Assistant to the Medical Center Director, Staff Assistant to the Network Director VISN 2, Associate Director and Director.
