VA Western New York Healthcare System will hold Vietnam Veterans Recognition Day ceremonies commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War on Friday March 30 in Buffalo and Batavia. The events will serve as a “Welcome Home” for Vietnam Veterans and they will be thanked and honored for their service. 

This 50th Anniversary Commemoration recognizes the anniversary of the beginning of the Vietnam War. In addition, information about VA health care and other Veterans benefits will be available. Many Veterans are still unaware of benefits they have earned. 

The event at the Buffalo site, 3495 Bailey Avenue, will take place in Freedom Hall room 301 beginning at 9:00 a.m.  The Batavia event will take place the same day at 222 Richmond Avenue, from 2:00 p.m. outside Building 1. Vietnam Veterans and their families are encouraged to attend to share camaraderie.  For additional information please contact (716) 862-8753.
