VA Western New York Healthcare System
New Volunteer Ambassador Program
The daughter of a Veteran, Diane Ruszala volunteers in the new Ambassador Program at the Buffalo VA Medical Center.
Ruszala said her father received wonderful care at the Buffalo VA before he passed away.
For her, volunteering is a personal and rewarding experience that allows her to volunteer in honor of her father and make a meaningful difference in the lives of Veterans.
As an ambassador, Ruszala always welcomes Veterans and visitors with a smile as they enter the hospital and provides directional support and assistance to those in need. Always caring and courteous, she truly takes care of Veterans and is a wonderful asset to the medical center.
