Local artist and Veteran Glenn Scott has made it his mission to help fellow Veterans struggling with substance abuse.  He regularly volunteers in the Substance Abuse Recovery Rehabilitation Treatment program (SARRTP) at the Buffalo VA Medical Center and recently donated four pieces of original artwork to VA to inspire Veterans struggling with addiction. His artwork is proudly displayed in the program area.

On April 24th Scott was honored by the medical center for his efforts.

A graduate of the SARRTP program, Scott encourages Veteran struggling with addiction to take advantage of the program and treatment options available at VA.  There are many resources available for Veterans to find support, get treatment and recover.

“Veterans struggling with addiction are encouraged to reach out to us,” said Donna Sherman, Program Manager for SARRTP.
