VA Health Care Upstate New York invites Veterans of all skill levels and abilities to participate in hockey clinics held in Buffalo. The clinics are held in partnership between VA Western New York Healthcare System, the Buffalo Sabres*, USA Hockey* and Hasek’s Heroes*.

Whether they hit the ice on skates or on sleds, hockey offers Veterans a chance to get together for exercise and healthy competition.“The partnership VA has formed with USA Hockey, Hasek’s Heroes and the Buffalo Sabres brings the right expertise together,” remarked recreation therapy supervisor Pamela Kaznowski.

Next up is a clinic which will be held on Monday Jan. 16 at noon at Bud Bakewell Ice Rink* in Buffalo. All necessary gear is provided. Veterans in the New York area can learn more by calling Pamela Kaznowski at 716-862-6814 or by e-mailing Pamela.Kaznowski@va.gov.***
