Situation Update

As of Monday, April 20, 2020 8:04 AM EDT

The CDC and VA are committed to reducing the spread of the flu and COVID-19. If you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath – please stay home and contact your primary care provider. Tell them about how you are feeling and any recent travel you or members of your household have taken. They will be able to discuss your appointment options and answer any questions you may have.

Visitation to patients has been suspended as a precautionary measure in all VA Western New York Healthcare System facilities to include Community Living Centers in Batavia and Buffalo.

To minimize any potential exposure, we’ve limited access to our facilities to one entrance for Veterans where screening questions will be asked; the outpatient entrances at the Buffalo and in Batavia VAs.

Veterans who have a scheduled appointment may be contacted to have their visit through telephone, video-connect, or to reschedule in the future. If you have not been contacted, please keep your appointment or call to reschedule.

If he/she is in need of a walk-in clinic appointment, please contact the clinic ahead of coming in.
